Elizabeth Morgan^[1] was born in 1755^[2] in Frederick (later Berkeley) County, Virginia, the fifth of nine known children and the oldest of three daughters of David and Sarah Stevens Morgan.

On 20 December 1775, when she was about twenty, she married Abraham Lowe in Frederick County.

In 1798, when she was in her mid-forties, she died in Monongalia (later Marion) County, Virginia, of unknown causes.

Bible entry of her nephew Charles in his family Bible confirms her name was Elizabeth Lowe (but gives no other information).[1]
