Biography

When Carole Ann Frazier was born on March 5, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, her father, Walter, was 37, and her mother, Zoe, was 33 with 2 older siblings. Her first move was to Baltimore, Maryland around 1935. The second place the family lived, Carole's younger sibling was born, Steubenville, Ohio in 1938. The family then moved to Cadiz, Ohio in 1940^[1].

Her family moved back to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she went to South Hills High School^[2]. Mutual friends introduced her to Harry Fisher who was also from Pittsburgh. After high school, she went to West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, West Virginia.

She married Harry Leighton Fisher on 5 June 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College. They lived in Baltimore and Eastern Shore, Maryland where the couples oldest son was born and then back to Pittsburgh where the families second son was born. Then they moved to Keyser, Mineral County, West Virginia, where their daughter was born. Family lived in Wytheville Virginia for a year before settling in Martinsville, Virginia. She went to Wythe Community College, Wythe County, Virginia. During this time in Martinsville, she worked at WMVA radio station and then worked at Anchor House home for girls where she was a counselor. In her 40's she finished her college education at Ferrum College, with a daily commute from Martinsville to Ferrum, Virginia, receiving a 3.9 GPA ^[3][4]. Presently, she and Harry lives in Kernersville, Forsyth county, North Carolina with my husband and I Frank.^[5]
