Biography

Margaret Virginia McQueen was born on March 11, 1918, in Blanket, Brown, Texas, USA ^[1] to father, John Carl McQueen (1877-1968), and mother, Margaret Emma (Brewster) McQueen (1882-1951).^{[2] [3]} Her great nieces and nephews called her "Aunt Trudy."^[4]

She married James Edwin Belyeu abt. 1936, in Texas. Tragically he was in a terrible car accident that took his life on March 5, 1948.^[5] Margaret and James had one son together named Michael James Belyeu.^[6]

Margaret remarried to Robert Coleman Price in April 1954, in Ector, Texas. Unfortunately, he died of a self-inflicated gun shot wound on August 9, 1959.^[7]

Towards the end of her life, she lived with her sister Irma McQueen, who lived a few blocks from their other sister, Eris, in Brownwood, Texas.^[8]

Margaret died on February 6, 1996, in Brownwood, Brown Co, Texas, USA. She is buried in the East Lawn Cemetary with many of her family members.^[9]
