When Tina was 6 months old her parents Peggy Ann Johnson and Joe Roy Mallow moved to Tripoli, Libya. Her father worked as a geophysicist. In 1967 the family was evacuated during the Six Day War [2] to Naples, Italy and also lived in Malta during that time.
Tina's family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Tina went to an American school for Kindergarten and 1st grade where she was taught in English for half of the day, and in Spanish the other half of the day. As a child, she spoke Spanish fluently.
Her parents separated, and so Tina moved to Austin, Texas, close to family who lived in Bastrop, Texas. She attended 2nd grade there. Somewhere in between she stayed with her grandmother, Eris Ruth (McQueen) Mallow while trying to figure things out. During that time she attended 3rd grade at East Elementary in Brownwood, TX. Later that year, Tina and her mother moved to Bon Air, Virginia, where she lived with a family who had been their friends in Tripoli, Libya.
Tina's parents Peggy Ann Johnson and Joe Roy Mallow divorced January 19, 1972.[3] Tina had been attending 3rd, 4th and 5th grade there in Virginia. Tina's mom decided to move back to Austin, Texas. where she completed 6-9th grade. In all that time, Tina's father lived many places overseas where she spent the summer, including: Acra, Ghana, and Oslo, Norway. She also traveled to Denmark, Germany, Luxenburg, and France. Her little brother was born in Norway. Tina often said that spending time overseas gave her a greater appreciation for other cultures, people, and the freedom that American's are able to have.
Then, Tina's mom, met a man named Michael Otis Grossman, and married him May 12, 1978.[4] At that time, they moved to Giddings, Texas, where his family lived and she attended 10th grade. At that time, Gidding was a town with one stop light.
After 10th grade, Tina decided to go live with her father, Joe Roy Mallow and her step-mom. They were living in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Tina finished her 11th and 12th grades at Col-High School in Bartlesville.[5] About that time, her father moved to Missouri City, Texas.
She went to college at Oklahoma State University to major in Elementary Education. But, thinking she was in love, married after one semester on Dec. 18, 1981. She and her husband had two boys.
For many years, Tina had been attending college, and teaching piano lessons to supplement her income. At this time, long-distance college had to be done through the mail. It was before computers were prevelant. She majored in Computer Science because she worked at the National Institute of Petroleum and Energy (NIPER) and they paid for tuition. In 1996, she was finally able to go to college full-time while working two part-time jobs. She changed her major to Business Education. She was able to graduate with honors in May of 1998 from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
On September 12, 1998, she married her 2nd husband. He is 14 years older than her, but they got along so well. At that time, he was an art teacher, and former football and wrestling coach. She was able to teach for many years, teaching elementary computers and keyboarding, high school basic computers, desktop publishing, yearbook and HTML basics.
After retiring, Tina is now involved with Delta Kappa Gamma [6] as Vice-President, creating their newsletters and keeping their web page updated. Her hobbies include playing piano, crocheting amigurumi items, and genealogy research.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!
It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I did not create the profile - Mallo-1. It already existed and so the information is a little scattered and not organized. I want to make sure that the information is accurate and the sourcing is very important to me. Some of the information pertains to his children. I do not have first-hand sources. Ancestry.com suggests some but they are written in German. Should I even try to edit this profile?
You can adopt the profile of Hans Diebolt Mallo (1681 - 1731) and then use the resources listed on the Germany Project to add reliable sources.
You also can contact one of the Project Germany leaders, or coordinators and ask for help.
You can contact a mentor who is listed for German and ask for help. Help:Contact a Mentor
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
