Maria Anna Jannazzo is born on 30 October 1845 and baptized two days later. She is the daughter of Biagio Jannazzo and Rosalia lo Cascio. Her godparents are Francesco Rotolo and Maddalena Sciortino, a married couple.[1]
Maria Anna marries Giuseppe Labruzzo, son of Luciano and Lucia Marino, on 3 October 1864. This marriage receives a dispensation due to consanguinity: Maria Anna and Giuseppe are second cousins. Her mother is living at this time, and her father has died.[2]
Maria Anna and Giuseppe have at least three children: Luciano (c. 1877), Stefano (c. 1882), and Maria Rosa (c. 1884).
Luciano marries Rosalia Jannazzo on 2 November 1897.[3] Luciano and Rosalia are first cousins.
Luciano and Stefano are both named among mafia leadership in Corleone around 1900. The brothers marry sisters who are their second cousins, once removed.
Stefano marries Paola Jannazzo, Rosalia's sister, on 15 February 1912.[4] Stefano and Paola are first cousins.
Maria Rosa marries Francesco Rizzo, a widower, on 14 April 1925.[5]
