Paolo Jannazzo is born 3 August 1849 in Corleone and baptized the next day. He is the son of Biagio Jannazzo and Rosa Cascio. His godparents are Salvatore Cardella and Rosa Pecorino, a married couple.[1]
Paolo Jannazzo marries at least twice, first to Maria Parrino, the daughter of Francisco and Lucia Bruno, on 5 June 1872. His mother is still living at this time, and his father has died.[2]
Paolo and Maria have at least one child, Biagio (c. 1882).
I estimate Biagio is at least twenty years old when he marries.
Biagio marries Carolina di Palermo on 16 November 1902.[3]
Paolo remarries to Angela Nicoletti, daughter of the late Tommaso Nicoletti and Giacinta Gennaro, and who has been his partner in "an unholy alliance" for twenty years in Corleone, on 27 March 1906. The text quoted is where there is usually some language about either her parents' marriage, or her birth or previous marriage. Paolo's mother has also died by this time. This marriage is performed in extremis, when Paolo Jannazzo is near death.[4]
