Biography
In 1880 Robert lived in East Hempfield, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The household included George, (40), a stone mason; his wife Lizzie, 39; their two children Ellie (Robert), 6; and Alice, 3; George’s father, 69, listed as Heisler Heisler; and Annie Shissler, 18, George’s stepdaughter (Elizabeth’s daughter), who was working as a servant. All members of the household were born in Pennsylvania. [1]
Robert married Rose Brumbaugh. They are buried together in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona, Blair, Pennsylvania. [2]
