I’ve not heard back from you regarding the 1776 Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now.

If you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here

Many thanks,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Hi,

I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Thank you so much on your help with the merge on Sarah E. Washurn Helm. I truly appreciate it very much. Have a wonderful day!
Greetings from the 1776 Project . . .

We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?

Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce our new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi R. With respect to La Tourette-4, if you look through the edit history, the GEDCOM import had a birthdate of December 1738. This matches well with the FamilySearch profile you linked, so I'm going to go ahead and edit that - but just letting you know.

Thank you, thank you! I was led to this profile, as I was working on sourcing Unsourced Profiles. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for showing Scotland as one of your interests. If you haven’t yet done so, please join the Scotland project via the G-2-G topic. I hope you get a great deal of pleasure collaborating with colleagues in this great project. If you have any questions or wish any advice either send me a private message or email me.
Hi Mark. Thanks for reaching out! I thought I had joined. I did respond the the G2G. Then, I picked a profile off of the list, and worked on it, but later got a note from someone saying I needed to wait til I was assigned a mentor (not the right word...maybe a guide?) . The directions could be a bit more clear, I think. I haven’t heard from anyone til your message today. So, I don’t know what is going on. :(

Take care xxx

Thank you for the heads-up on Mansil Crisps' Find A Grave, non-burial memorial. I added the information to a research notes section in the profile.

Will you please add me to the trusted list for Matilda Lawrence Price and her family? She is my husband's 3rd great grandmother

Are you kin to the Leonards? I am because my mother's surname is Leonard. Is that why you are working on the Leonards. If you are how are you? Also welcome to WikiTree Paula.

Hi Ramona,

Thanks for adding sources!

There can be a bit of a learning curve to WikiTree, but once you figure it out, it is a great place to interact with other family historians.

By the way - I notice that you are using "Ancestry.com" as your source on these profiles. As we are a collaborative tree, it would be a great help if you could be a bit more explicit about your sources. Ancestry trees are great for giving us hints and steering us in the right direction, but they are not really considered a valid source all by themselves.

Here is what our Sources help page says. It has lots of ideas: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

Thanks for joining WikiTree. Looking forward to your contributions!

This is your last stop on the guided tour. Hopefully, you're feeling like a WikiTree pro! If not, you can always revisit the tour stops via the comment boxes on the right side of your profile.

This tour has covered a lot of ground so far. Our last stop gives you a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost: How to Dig a Little Deeper.

Hi again!

You may have been hard at work getting connected to family members who are already here and adding those who were missing. You probably have at least a few profiles that you manage now.

There's a fast and easy way to access those profiles using the Watchlist. So, this week we're going to look at How to Manage Your Watchlist.

Please let one of us know if you have questions! Just click my name above the comment, then ask in the comment section of my page. We want to help!
