Biography

Angela Gennaro is born 15 April 1854 and baptized the next day, named after her paternal grandmother. She is the daughter of Luciano Gennaro and Lucia Cascio. Her godparents are Joannes Labruzzo and Maria Grizzaffi.

Angela marries Luciano Jannazzo, her first cousin, on 8 September 1872 in Corleone. It is the first marriage for either of them. Rosalia Cascio, Luciano Janazzo's mother, is Lucia's sister.

The Church record of their marriage is dated the next day. As on other records in this volume, it is written that there was no impediment found to either of them marrying. In this record there is also the note that there is a dispensation for their marriage, due to consanguinuity.

Angela and Luciano have at least one child, Rosalia (c. 1873), named after Luciano's mother. She is called "Rosa."

Angela dies at age 21, on 26 February 1875. Her husband and parents survive her.

Rosa marries Bernardo Giuseppe Mario Milone on 30 September 1891.^[1]
