Biography

Leroy Deubler was the son of August Deubler and Averilla Gilcrease. He was born in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.^[1] Though his FindAGrave memorial says he was born on 12 Feb 1911 his birth certificate says his date of birth was 11 Feb 1911.^[2]

In 1930, Leroy was still living in the household of his father and working as a fireman for the Southern Pacific Railroad.^[3]

In the 1940 United States Census, he was living in his brother Orville's household in Maricopa County, Arizona.^[4]

In Nov 1941, he obtained a license in Pima County, Arizona to marry Maude Lee Smith and the marriage took place on 21 Nov 1941.^[5][6]

No records have been found for children.

He passed away 17 Nov 1967 in San Diego, California, and is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego County, California.^[7]
