British Surname Kidderminster. Is this actually Beauchamp of Worcester?

While sourcing ancestors on the SourceAThon, I stumbled into a source in www.archive.org. It is a 1600's diary that was published with genealogical notes in 1907.

According to the footnote attached to the death of Malyn "Kidderminster" Rumsey, she was the daughter of "Sir John Kidderminster." I am not certain if the Knt means Kent or something else. In researching the surname Kidderminster, all references seem to go to the Beauchamp family of Worcester. I am American, so I am hoping to enlist some British help or possibly the help of someone who is more familiar with British lingo and pedigrees. Also, the place of her death doesn't seem to exist in Wales. Could it be lingo for Lancashire?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I think the Beauchamp connection is spurious. There were two men (father and son) named John, Baron Beauchamp of Kidderminster, but they were late 14C/early 15C.

It's definitely Wales, co. Brecknock is the giveaway. Brecknock now only exists as the town of Brecon in Powys, Llangenny is about 15 miles SE.

I think there's a good chance her father was Sir John Kidderminster (Kederminster) of Langley Marish, Bucks, although the History of Bucks only mentions one daughter, Elizabeth. His will is held at the National Archives as PROB 11/159/567.

Thank you.

The almshouses are still standing

The church is incredible.

Thank you! What a great find!
RJ Horace- Based on the estimated birthdate, I am thinking that Malyn Kidderminster was the sister of Edmund Kidderminster. That would make her the aunt of the John Kidderminster who left the estate to Elizabeth Kidderminster and John Parsons. Is that correct? I will attempt to get the family in the wikitree. Thank you so much for the help. I would have never figured it out. BTW, I tried to award you the generous genealogist badge, but you have them already!
Footnote 49 says Edmund's father was a John, but he died in 1558.  Hmm.
