Merge question

Question

When I try to initiate a merge between Dauphin-30 and Dauphin-32, I get a message that the merge has already been suggested and completed, but both profiles still exist independently.  What happened here?

According to changes on her profile a merge was completed on 27 Dec 2016. Mary Ann Brandt edited the data for Jeanne Dauphin. (Merged Dauphin-32 into Dauphin-30: Clear duplicate.) When you click on any links to Dauphin-32 https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dauphin-32 it will take you to the merged profile of Daupin-30 so there is only one profile now of that individual.

There appears to be only one profile. Both IDs lead to the same profile. So I'm not seeing a problem.

Thanks.  I did not realize that both ids remained after a merge.

They don't remain exactly, but entering one will take you to the other.
