Brickwall -- trying to locate birth and/or marriage records for Robert Burry (b. 1829?)

I have a newspaper advert (classifieds)stating Robert Burry was living in Liff & Benvie as an active agent for their local school, in 1848.  He was also shown in the Scottish Rural Post Office Directory ( http://digital.nls.uk/directories/browse/pageturner.cfm?id=84991286 ) indicating he was a smithy residing at Alma Cottage, Liff.

I haven't any access to ScotlandsPeople D/B, but have researched the Index of Birth records on Family Search and MyHeritage for Robert.  I'm sleuthing Robert in order to try and locate the birth records for my G-GM, Catherine C. Burry.  I 'm not too certain, but the middle initial 'C' may stand for "Christie" [a potential maiden name of her mum, Catherine Burry (nee Christie)].

Does anyone have any leads in the Liff & Benvie area, or the Morayshire area, for any of these Burry's rellies?  I've also located a George Burry (b. 1846?)  in the 1911 Irish Census records, claiming to be Catherine's uncle.  Not sure if he is legit.

With the help of an acquaintance (now hopefully a dear friend) on WikiTree, I was able to locate a picture of a cemetery monument with Robert's name and his spouses name, Catharine Christie.  The memorial heasn't birth or death dates on it, only other people buried in the same locale, methinks. Now all I need to do is confirm where in Scotland the pic was taken, as it was sent to my friend anonymously.
