Flora McKenzie was Mother to at least the following three children born on Prince Edward Island, Canada.  All three were Baptised on 7 April 1842 at St. Johns Presbyterian, Balfast, PEI, Canada by John McLennan.  The Father was George Proctor.

Catherine Proctor b. 25 March 1837 Murry Harbour Road, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She is my 2nd GG Grandmother on my Maternal side.  She married John A. Munn on 25 Aug 1870.

George Proctor b. 15 June 1839 Murry Harbour Road, Prince Edward Island, Canada.  Father was George Proctor.

Colin Proctor b. 28 Jul 1841 Murray harbour Road, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Father was George Proctor.

Any help tracing these ancestors would be appreciated.

Thanks Frank.  I pulled these up which show the baptisms of the children and a couple potential, but just lists her as wife without husband's name. The one has birth date of 1819 seems like a good possibility. There was another with her listed as 57 (born c1824) in the 1881 census as a widow, but would she keep her husbands last name of Proctor as a Widow? And the problem there is she'd only have been 13 when Son George was born.  So I was thinking 1817-1819ish on birth year.  I did see that Charles Colin Proctor, Son, moved from PEI to Nova Scotia and lived next door to wives Father.

Hi Carol, thanks for the post.  Flora McKenzie would have had three children with George Proctor that were baptized by Reverend John McLennen at Belfast Church with the first being Catharine Proctor being born in 1837. I was looking at Murdock McKenzie 1811, but 26 years between his birth year and Grandaughter from Flora would likely be too young. Could be an Uncle or something though.
