On Wikitree, we collaborate on our global tree. So you do need to be willing to accept help. More recent generations, can be privacy protected. Check out the privacy tab to learn more. Come back here to the forum if you have any other questions.

And should thank people for the help. As you go up your tree look on the side where it shows DNA that match other people so they are part of that family also and some might be adding to the same tree.

Here is a sticker that might have gone on the infant profile that died young if it was not set to privacy.
