How to add project categories to cemetery page

I just created a cemetery category [[Category:Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville, Kentucky]]. On the template, once created, it has project box Cemeterist. How do I properly add other project tags here i.e. Appalachia Project?

The Project Line is a carry over from when The Cemeterist Project was broken down into regions and you could add this Region the Cemetery was in.  The regions were all consolidated into just the Cemeterist Project and it is no longer accessible for addition.

However, you may want to add something to the text portion of the Category Page.  Something like:

Pinelawn Memorial Gardens is part of the [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Appalachia Appalachia Project].

This will show as

Pinelawn Memorial Gardens is part of the Appalachia Project.

That is a wonderful idea!
Thanks Pam.  that's why I love WikiTree, you can always find a way to do something with information you want presented.
Actually only the

|team=

parameter was discontinued in CategoryInfoBox on the cemetery categories. The

|project=

parameter still works and is used to "connect" the cemetery with another project.

See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:CategoryInfoBox_Cemetery

As an example see

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Cudgegong_General_Cemetery%2C_Cudgegong%2C_New_South_Wales

or

We can't add to the template unfortunately. I just make sure all the Appalachians I add to the category are stickered.

If you want to link to the category for Kentucky Appalachians, please use the linking method. [[:Category:Kentucky Appalachians]] and not make the cemetery a subcategory of your project.

This is not the same as African-American cemeteries, since that project has its own cemetery groups. Quakers also have their own cemeteries.  Appalachians do not have this, and you would need to ask Cemeterists leaders about creating a grouping for Appalachia project. From what I know, the leaders were trying to avoid creating cemetery groups for every project out there.
Aha!! You've clarified it very well. I thought Pinelawn cemetery could have Appalachia in the template like the African-American cemeteries are African-American.

Thanks!
