Pvt. William R Senter (1831 - 1868) 106th New York Co. E

Question

As we complete the list of U.S. Civil War vets for the glorious 106th New York Regt. Company E. I have added this interesting veteran as he has a wonderful photo on his FindAGrave memorial. It appears he passed away shortly after the war? I would like to collaborate in connecting him to the Wikitree family.

William Rupert Senter

in the New York, U.S., Town Clerks' Registers of Men Who Served in the Civil War, ca 1861-1865

This record shows his parents as Rueben and Hannah Wilson

That said, there is also a William Russell....but that appears to be an error....there was a brother named Russell.   It appears, that Rueben, his father, may be the son of
