Hi Wikitreers

We are still adding all the men of the glorious 106th New York Regiment Company F. Today we have Pvt. Charles Jesmer aka “Jassmer” who already had a profile created upon researching the Jesmer boys in Co. F. What we need collaboration with currently is finding their relation. We’re Charles Jesmer, Antoine Jesmer and John Jesmer all brothers who served in the same Company? They need better sourcing and connecting.

Any Civil War group collaboration is always appreciated.

Thank you

Note: Company F was captured and all 3 men were P.O.W.’s see

The following is quoted from Col. Fox's account of the regiment: "Companies D and F were captured, April 29, 1863, at Fairmount, W. Va., where they defended a railroad bridge for several hours against a large force of Confederates. The captured men were immediately released on parole.
