Flag for Nova Scotia in 1805

As is my practice, I have added the migrant sticker to my MacKay family that emigrated from Ross-shire to Nova Scotia in 1805. But I want to know what is the correct flag to use at that date. I have checked the Nova Scotia project and sent a request to them some time ago with no reply. Can someone else please inform me.

Before 1867, I believe our ancestors in Nova Scotia colony flew the British flag.
That was probably true in every British colony,

Technically Nova Scotia didn't have a flag then, but they had a Coat of Arms which is the same as today's and looks a lot like today's flag.  There was a period when Queen Victoria mucked about with a fish and some weeds (between 1867-1929), but otherwise the same flag has been in use since 1625.

Edit.  I see you still using the Salmon flag.  In 1805 that one was clearly not in use.

also note: your ancestors came to Pictou, but If they had gone to Cape Breton in 1805, it was a separate colony from Nova Scotia. The two colonies were (re)united in 1820.
