Looking for parents of John Anderson b.1759, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, d.1829, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Question

John Anderson was born in Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, in 1759 and came to Nova Scotia as one of the Empire Loyalists of the Port Roseway Association around 1783.

Through my connections in Ancestry's ThruLines and with a limited number of Andersons in Schuylkill, PA, at that time, it is possible that he was a descendant of James Edward Anderson, born on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. (Anderson-10897)

Are there any WikiTree members who are familiar with Pennsylvania records during that era who could help with this?

I don't know if this is any help, but have a look at the biography of Anderson-72091 (John Anderson), veteran of the British Legion, who settled at Port Mouton. Not the same person as your John, I think, but there was at least one other and maybe two other John Andersons in the British Legion/Emerich's Chasseurs who might be a match you your guy. Or possibly neither, as this was a fairly common name.

Thank you for your reply and presenting another avenue for research.  I've seen some of your posts on Ed Coleman's columns, specifically on his military postings, and appreciate an informed opinion - military history is not my strong suit.

This resource puts John and James Anderson in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1811.
