Pending Merge that is more than one month old

Question

I initiated a merge for Simpson-3749 and Simpson-20336 in January. The profile manager for Simpson-3749 hasn't been active since 2017 so I didn't expect it to happen quickly.  

I was read here that mergers were approved automatically after a month: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Unresponsive_Profile_Managers#For_merging

I initiated the merge on January 15 and it's still pending. Is there something I need to do on my end to complete the merge? Mainly curious why it wasn't approve automatically after one month.

One profile is private so it seems they can’t be merged until the status changes to public.

Oh I see. Thank you. What should I do in this case since the profile manager isn't active anymore?

Both profiles have to be Open (or you are on the Trusted List).  If one is green, you still won't be able to merge after 30 days.

Send a message to info @ wikitree.com with the ID. They can review private profiles and complete the merge.
