If a manager gives approval to merge a person should privacy level autochange to allow access so the merge can be done?

I went to merge this;

  1. Privacy Level 50 Walter Smith (Smith-53149) and Privacy Level 50 Walter Smith (Smith-29446)   Compare compare
    Proposed by Sheilah Hamlin.
    Approval from Gary Wilson Reames for Smith-53149 has been recorded.
    Approval from Sheilah Hamlin for Smith-29446 has been recorded.
    You can complete this merge after a final comparison.
          You might also see the comparison report on WikiTree+. Help
          If Smith-53149 and Smith-29446 are different people, reject the merge.

It now says "lev", so I presume he means "level".

No, the privacy level will not 'autochange'.  It will stay the same as it is.  That is why only a Profile Manager or someone on the Trusted List can approve it.  It will stay the same even after the 30-day default, so once again you have to be a Profile Manager of that profile or on the Trusted List.  It is very annoying when one of the PMs left WikiTree months or even years ago.  Then you have to go through the "Unresponsive Profile Manager" process.

You can also send a message to Admin and they can review and complete the merge without doing the Unresponsive Profile manager process.
