I'm looking for Martha's maiden name . It's possible that her father is Charles Clay (1636-1686) and Hannah Wilson (1642-1706) . I know they lived in the following area's . Herico County Va.-(1690-1694) Chesterfield County , VA.(1695-1749).  Ralph and Martha married around 1690 and had 5 children , all boys .

William-(1691-1745) , Richard-(1693-1768) , Ralph-(1695-1754) , John-(1697-1754) ,

James-(1699-1749).

I'm pretty sure Martha's parents were living in Herico County , Virginia in 1690 but not certain . Thanks for any help

They are confused about the people and who they married.

Martha Hudson

I know this is not the answer, but sometimes a name helps.

Thank you Lawrence . I saw this (Hudson/Bllankenship) right after my post . I asked the question due to all the conflicting info on the last name from my other searches . And your right , sometimes a name will break the wall . Really appreciate .

Hello, while researching my family line via DNA results I happened to notice that a Ralph Blankenship was included in the Worley DNA Project.  We match 32 out of 34 markers, with one of my markers being dropped to zero at some point, so we're probably 33 out of 34.  That in and of itself wouldn't mean much due to the different surnames but I have seen some Blankenship researchers reflect that Ralph was married in Henrico County, VA in 1690.  That's interesting because my Worley line is traced to Henrico County, with John Worley (Sr.) being documented as being there by 1718 and estimated to have been born --- location unknown --- before 1698.  I'm wondering if anyone has any info that links the Blankenship's and Worley's?
