Looking for the Parents of Frank Gracin Howard 1890-1964

Hello,

I am looking for any information on the parents of Frank Gracin Howard. He was born January 20, 1890 in Mount Storm, West Virginia. He died September 5, 1964 in Manhattan, Kansas. I was told by my mother that he may have changed his name and was possibly disowned by his parents, but I have no proof of that. I have his obituary, but no birth or death certificate. Frank's wife was Ida Mae (Cook) Howard. They were married December 8, 1920 in Eskridge, Kansas. I know that Frank was a Carpenter and worked for a time at the University in Kansas City. Frank was my Great Grandfather and I have hit a brick wall as far as information about him. Please let me know if you find anything.

Here is their marriage announcement. The day of marriage is wrong in the announcement and should be the 8th.

Thank you very much! I agree the date listed is incorrect, since it matches the date of the newspaper clipping. I also have the marriage book from Ida Mae which is signed by Elder Schumate on December 8, 1920.
