Who are Stina Olofsdotter’s parents?

Question

Stina’s birthdate shows up in early HHE records as 1765 and the later HHE records as 25 May 1765 and born in Nysund, but that date goes to a child born to Maria Andersdotter (and a soldier named Lars Uggleklo?)?

However, I believe she is with Olof Olofsson and Margareta Olsdotter in Solberga before (Nysund: A I/2, p70) and after her marriage (Nysund: A I/2, p211), so are they her parents? If so, where is her birth record? I looked in Nysund between 1758-1769 and there were no children for Olof Olofsson and Margareta Olsdotter. There were a couple children for Olof Olofsson and Annika Andersdotter in Solberga.

So is Nysund AI:2 p.70 your earliest record with her?

That book covers 1778-1798, so starts the year when Stina becomes 13 and the book before that is for 1751-1760, before Stina was born. I don't think the family is at Solberga in Nysund in the previous book (when Stina's brother Jonas was born). Maybe one way to find where they were is to follow Stina's siblings forward in time. Maybe they get better later records of where and when they were born.

Thank you for answering. I found Olof Olofsson and Annika (his first wife?) in Solberga in AI:1, p.142, but that did not help me.

If you have reason to believe that is the same Olof then indeed he does not have that son Jonas born in 1758 in the records up to 1760, so he came with his new wife Margareta. That might be true for several more of the children, including Stina!

If you can't track Margareta Olsdotter backwards, again I suggest following Stina's siblings forward in time to see if they get better data later than what Stina got.

I found all the children of Olof Olofsson and Annika Andersdotter and Olof Olofsson with Margareta Olofsdotter. There is a gap between 1761 and 1768 with no children. No birth/baptism record found for a Christina/Stina Olofsdotter born in 1765. Could they have the name and date correct, but the parents wrong (25 May 1765)? Olof Olofsson had a daughter Stina born in 1765 per HHE records. So if all the other siblings were born in Solberga in Nysund, where was Stina born and/or baptized?
