Runciman-1069 and Runciman-493 appear to represent the same person because: Runciman-493 is a researched person with parent names aligned to the Scottish Naming Pattern for the couple's children of the 1806 marriage of Peffers-Runciman. Runciman-1069 is not a known person.

Hello, Alexander & thankyou for creating a Runciman profile. Delighted to make the connection & I think this Ann is already on WT here, for whom we had not previously found a husband. Ann was born in Innerwick where this Peffers family brought up their children, is the right age and the only likely candidate to be the wife. Of greater significance is that the Peffer's first dau is named Elspeth and the 2nd son is named Thomas, both of which align to the Scottish naming pattern for Ann's known parents. Would you care to look at this profile and, assuming both you & the profile manager Lorna Henderson agree, the correct link can be made?

Incidentally according to the index of marriage records and later family births the husband's name appears to be William, not George. I can forward further details by Private Message.
