Biography

Marion Peffers was born on 30 June 1820 at Crawhill, Innerwick, Haddingtonshire and baptised on 16 July in Innerwick, daughter of William Peffers and Ann (Runciman) Peffers. ^[1]

In 1841 she lived at High Street, Dunbar, Haddingtonshire where she was a family servant. ^[2]

By 1852 she was living in Niagara Township, Lincoln, Canada West. ^[3] Ten years later she was living in East Oxford, Oxford, Ontario. ^[4]
