Biography

Born: Jacob was born about 1791 in South Carolina.[1] [2][3][4] He was the son of Philip Romans and Isabella Unknown.

Married: On September 23, 1811, Jacob Roman, over the age of 21 years, and Mary Doherty, the daughter of Robert Doherty who consented to the marriage, were married in Warren County, Kentucky. [5] The Bondsmen were Jacob Roman and Ebenezer Cole.[6]

Residences: 1811-1820, Warren County, Kentucky;[5][1] 1830-1858, Butler County, Kentucky. [2][3][4][7]

Death and Probate: Jacob died intestate August 4, 1858 in Butler County, Kentucky.[7]The initial appraisal of his Estate was conducted on September 25, 1858.[8]
