Biography

James was born in 1786.^[1][2] He was the son of Philip Romans and Isabella Unknown. He appears in the 1820 Census as head of household-male age 26-44.^[1] and the 1830 Census as head of household-male age 40 -50. ^[2] James passed away in 1842.
