Biography

Born: Phillip was born about 1785.[1][2] He was the son of Philip Romans and Isabella Unknown. Marriages: On January 11, 1819, "Philip" Romans married Betsey Daughtery, daughter of Robert Daughtery.[3] Residences: 1810, Warren County, Kentucky, 1 male 16 to 25, 1 female 16 to 25, 1 female under 10;[1] 1820, Warren County, Kentucky, 1 male 26 to 44, 1 female 26 to 44, 1 male 10 to 15, 1 female 10 to 15, 4 males under 10, 1 female under 10, 1 person engaged in agriculture.[2] He passed away in 1823. Land Records: Deed of October 7, 1817 from Wm. Hill to Philip Romans. Consideration $100. 100 acres, N. Big Barren R. pt. of Mil. Sur. to Joseph Wilson. Wits: Jacob Romans, Isaac Romans.[4]
