Biography
Jacob, the son of Peter Junkine and Mary Buchanan, was born on the 24th of January, 1798, in Easter Tar, Port of Menteith Parish, Perthshire, Scotland. He was baptised on the 4th of February, 1798.[1]
He is said to have drowned when aged 16. [2]
