Biography
Herbert Broomfield was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Herbert Machefer Broomfield was born on 1 February 1874 at Balmain. He was the son of Captain John Broomfield and Hannah Morris.
In 1913 in Ashfield, he married Alice Grace Hannah.[1]
Herbert and Alice had children.
He passed away on 23 December 1943 in Chatswood.[2][3]

- BROOMFIELD.—December 23, 1943, at his residence, 26 Waratah Street, Chatswood, Herbert Macheter, loving husband of Alison and father of Dorothea and Peter (A.I.F.). Privately cremated.[4]
