I am a trustee, Website and Social Media Manager for the Families in British India Society. I am also the administrator of the FIBIS DNA project. I have been researching my own family history since 1998 and set up the FIBIS DNA project in 2011 to help people with British Indian ancestry break through their brick walls as the cause is often an Indian ancestor, but there is no documentary evidence to prove it.
What do I do in my spare time? More genealogy, some of which I post on my blog. I am also currently digitising family photos, negatives, slides and documents which I share with family members via an experimental private website I built to synchronise with Adobe Lightroom. I use Lightroom to catalogue the records I digitise. I love experimenting with ideaβs like this and although I am still fine-tuning things, it seems to be working really well.
As my area of expertise is India during the time of the British Raj, I also try to check the India Unsourced Profiles page once a week and see if I can source at least one profile, thereby removing it from the list of unsourced profiles.

For the purposes of this event, unsourced means there are no sources listed at all. Add the source(s) according to our Sources guide. Make sure you have the Sourcer Extension added to your browswer to make sourcing super easy!
Date Diving: Pick from one of these lonesome categories on WikiTree+ (don't forget to click "find suggestions" to generate the report) that need dates added. Dates can be usually be found on sources. If you can not find a date for a profile, please leave a Research Note saying so. A sample report to find Undated Profiles.
