Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
anyone who shares the same genealogical or historical interests.
Here is my family tree.
William (Dunkeld) King of Scots (abt.1143-abt.1214) - 25th Great Grandfather through paternal grandmother, 24th Great Grandfather through paternal grandfather.
I was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Diana Strayer on June 16th, 1987. I weighed 10 lbs 1/2 oz. I was adopted at birth by Jane and Joe Pasquale. There are a few stories there. We lived in Cicero, Illinois for about 3 years.
At the age of three, we took a vacation to Hayward, Wisconsin and while driving around, my parents found our farm on a dead-end dirt road 6 miles north of the village of Birchwood, Wisconsin. We raised every farm animal at one point or another. The previous owners sold the farm with all the equipment and tools needed to maintain it. It even came with the best dog we ever owned. Her name was Katie and she was a yellow lab. Before I started kindergarten we brought home my dad's cousin, Danny. He was 9 years older than me and autistic. He was raised as my brother.
Mom took care of Kenny, an elderly man with Down syndrome, for 2-3 years. Until his mother passed away in 1995 and then he came to live with us. The majority of my childhood was spent going to support groups, helping with the disabled/elderly, doing chores, and riding the ATV (that was my favorite part). My dad had suffered a brain injury before I was born so he never drove a car but he operated all the farm equipment with headphones on. Dad, Danny, and I were a team on the farm.
Kenny eventually went to live with his sister. Danny now lives in a group home in northern Wisconsin. Over the years, my mom's health declined and she went from using a cane to a walker to a wheelchair and was pretty much bedridden when we moved to Rice Lake, Wisconsin in 2002. My dad developed congestive heart failure and suffered 2 strokes. I took online classes, night classes, and summer school classes to graduate early because I wanted to make sure they were taken care of.
As far as secondary schooling...I developed a list. Manicuring, Diet and fitness, Dental Assistant, and then Aesthetics. After that, I opened a spa in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Shortly after opening my spa, I enrolled in the Accounting Assistant program and then my husband was accepted into the Pharmacy program in Mequon, Wisconsin. So, I switched my schooling to online, found a job in the Mequon area, and moved so he could start school. I had a few employees at the spa but it didn't work out so we had to shut it down. I started working at a spa in Milwaukee and started my online schooling the day after we moved. After Accounting Assistant, I went on to Reflexology. I think it's fair to say, I just like to learn. I've also received certifications here and there along the way but I haven't gone back for anything major YET! Although, I do take every genealogy webinar I can find.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
I noticed that you used the Challenge Tracker to track a change during a recent Saturday Sourcing Sprint. Please consider officially joining us for the Saturday Sourcing Sprints. You can find information, including how to join, on the Sprints Help page. Please keep in mind that Sourcing Sprints are for improving profiles already present on WikiTree that do not have any sources attached, and only those should be registered in the tracker.
No pressure, every profile with a source makes our WikiTree better. Your work will continue to be included in Tracking Sheet's Unregistered total at the bottom of the help page if you do not register.
Your work and participation are appreciated! Thanks for sourcing!
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
