Biography

Josiah John Saeger was born on November 13, 1780 in Northampton, Province of Pennsylvania, son of Johannes Saeger (1743–1820) and Anna Catherina Kuntz (1749–1809).

John (23) married Magdalena Catherine Bertsch (17) (born on March 5, 1786 in Northampton; daughter of Christian Bertsch Jr. and Juliana Seiberling) in 1804 in Northampton. Their children were:

John died on February 7, 1829 in Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 48. He was buried in Saint Pauls United Church of Christ of Indianland, Walnutport, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.[1]
