Dicy Elizabeth Miller, a lifetime resident of Richland County.
Dicy was the daughter of John Wesley and Alice Utterback Jones. She was born Jan. 14, 1882 in Claremont township. She departed this life Jan. 7, 1974 at the age of 91 yrs, 11 mo, 23 days.
On Jan. 16, 1901 she was united in marriage to George Washington Miller who preceded her in death Nov. 28, 1950. To this union were born 4 sons and 1 daughter. Dicy was a long time member of the Wynoose United Methodist Church and later years had attended the Noble United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted her to.
She leaves a son George William Miller of Olney and a daughter Jane Bearden of Lakeland Florida.
There are 13 grandchildren 39 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, a brother Jasper Jones of Blue Island, Ill. Besides her husband, she has been preceded in death by 3 sons. John, Nathaniel, Edgar P. Miller, 1 grandchild and a number of brothers and sisters.
