Biography

Elizabeth Rushworth was born about 1783 and was Christened on 15 October 1783^[1]. She was the eldest daughter of Edward Rushworth and Hon. Catherine Holmes.

On 31 January 1803, Elizabeth married James Patrick Murray at Freshwater on the Isle of Wight^[2].

Lately, in the Isle of Wight, J. P. Murray, Esq. M. P. for Yarmouth, only son of the late Hon. General J. Murray, to Miss Rushworth, eldest daughter of E. Rushworth, Esq. of Freshwater-house, and grand-daughter of Lord Holmes.^[3]
