Hi Deborah. Larry Bartley here, researcher for playwrights. Eleanor Cox (sculptress) made a bust of Daniel McDougal. Any idea what became of it?
posted by Lawrence Bartley
Hi, Larry, Sorry for the late response, but I just saw your message. My Aunt Eleanor made busts of many people, famous, family, friends. The only one I have is the bust she made of me. My older half- brother inherited the home and contents after her death, and sold most of it all. So, I'm so sorry, but I do not know what happened to the bust of Daniel McDougal.

BTW, are we cousins?

Hi, Liz,The statement "Jane Drury was probably born around 1625 in England..." I took to mean "probably born around 1625" and not "probably born in England", because there is also an England sticker on her profile page:
Flag of England
Deborah David migrated from England to Virginia.
Flag of Virginia

I did not add those, I simply extrapolated that she was born in England. I do not have a source, sorry. You were right to remove England as the place of birth in the absence of a source, but should not the stickers also be removed? There is an additional sticker for Virginia, but no source for her birth there either.

posted by Deborah David
Hi! You added England/certain as birth location for Jane (Drury) Stith, but that's not supported in the text. Please share your source for that change. Thanks!

Hi Deborah,

I would to thank you for all your contributions towards the goals of the England Project during the past six months. We have achieved a huge amount during this period and we couldn't have done it without you and our other project members.

As the England Project Leaders, we are completing our six monthly check-in with all project members. Are you happy to stay in your current project teams? Which teams are you most active in? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?

Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future? Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks!

Someone fortuitously answered you ...

"To orphan a profile you go to privacy tab and remove yourself as PM. If you want someone else to be manager you would add them to trusted lust then make them a manager."

That was from Laura. It is so much cleared the way she says it.

    • I think the page you want is this one, and it requires your b.i.l.'s email, the one he will used as a profile manager

To add or remove from multiple lists at once, use the Bulk Watchlist/Trusted List Changes tool. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:TrustedListChanges

Myself, I just tell the other person I'm going to orphan X -- if they want to adopt X they can - I make sure the file has an Open Padlock otherwise they cannot adopt. THEY can change the Privacy Level AFTER they adopt

    • To ORPHAN you remove yourself from the position of Profile Manager. You will no longer be the PM of that profile

Hi, Susan, that's fine, I will handle the duplicate Miller profiles. I would appreciate if you would share with me how to "orphan" a profile? I started down my ex-husband's tree, but his brother would like to take over those profiles now. Neither of us knows how to switch managers from me to him. Help?

Thanks so much

I note the proposal to merge Ruth Jane (Dulaney-262) Miller and Jane (Delaney-2375) Miller (1751 - 1844)

BUT there's also Jane (Dulaney-186) Miller (1750 - 1844) managed by Richard Ragland

I'm going to orphan the one I am manager of so you can deal with THAT merge but you'll still have to do the other merge managed by Richard Ragland

I was looking at my (unfinished) Family Tree List for ancestors in Scituate (my daughter is visiting Cohasset, Nantaskit, etc & I wanted to send her some ancestor info). I loved reading page 1 of Capt Michael Pierce’s will. Fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing that to his page! Your genealogy looks looks so thorough, and this neophyte would be honored to follow your research.

Of course! You are welcome to whatever you can find useful. I have been helped along by other genealogists in my research. We are all here to share.

In the meantime, if you would like to add this template to your profile. It creates the connection to a specific President. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:US_President_Relative A list of the Presidents can be found at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Presidential_Project_Page

Hi Deborah, I've taken notice that you are posting your relationship to PGM profiles in the comment section. Can you imagine what that would look like if the hundreds of descendants did that? May I suggest that you kindly post those relationships on your personal profile like I have done on mine: Cheryl Skordahl Not that mine is done is such a spectacular manner, but I think you could use it as a jumping off point on your profile. Thanks so much.
Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader

Hello, just a word (late) to congratulate you on the contributions you made during the month of November. Whatever the quantity, they are all important.

Your work is appreciated. Thanks Guy Constantineau

Hi Deborah,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.

It looks like US History would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)
