Biography

Levi Chafe was born on October 21, 1861 in Petty Harbour, Newfoundland. His parents were George Chafe and Harriet Whitten.^[1] He married Mary Cook on January 05, 1887 at St Mary's Church in St John's, Newfoundland.^[2] Together they had 9 children:
