Biography
Abraham was baptised on 14 July 1800 at Pole Moor Chapel, near Scammonden, Yorkshire, the son of James Wood of Bank Nook, Slaithwaite.[1]
He married Sarah Bennett on 1 February 1834 at Huddersfield. Both of that parish, he signed she marked, witnesses James France and Thomas Bottomley.[2]
Abraham died aged 63 in March 1864[3] and was buried on 13 March 1864 at St Luke, Milnsbridge, Huddersfield.[4]
His son George married the following month, naming his father as Abraham Wood, weaver, on the marriage entry.[5]
