Claribel Tompson was born in 1879 in . Her parents were Charles Tompson and Diana Best.^[1]

She married William Duke-Yonge on 21st May 1903 at St Andrews Cathedral, Sydney.^[2]

YONGE — TOMPSON. The marriage of Mr. J. W. Duke-Yonge, eldest son of John Yonge, of Parramatta, with Miss Claribel Maude, eldest daughter of Mr. C. J. Tompson, of Wagga, was cele-brated at St. Andrews' Cathedral, Sydney, on Thursday. The wedding was of a quiet character, only the immediate friends at the bride and bridegroom being present.^[3]

She died in 1950 in Cremorne, New South Wales.^[4]

DUKE-YONGE, Claribel Maude.—April 4, 1950, at her residence, Cremorne, beloved wife of William and loving mother of John, Tom, and Bill. Privately cremated.^[5]
