Biography

Ferdinand, son of Frederick Anslow Tompson & Eliza Esther, was born on 27 February 1852 and baptised on 27 May 1855 in Murrumbidgee District, New South Wales, Australia.[1]

Ferdinand married Ellen Brennan in 1880 in Dubbo, New South Wales.[2]

Ferdinand, child of Frederick A & Eliza, died in 1925 in Manly, New South Wales.[3]

One of the best-known men in the west, in the person of Mr. Ferdinand Thompson, of Warren, died at Manly last week. For half a century the deceased was associated with the progress and development of the district. In business matters he was widely known in the west as principal of the firm of F. C. Thompson and Co., stock and station agents, which he founded in 1879.[4]
