Biography
Vera Gladys Thornell (married name Slocombe) was born in 1890 in Tyabb, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Mary Ann Maria (Hollyock) Thornell and John Henry Thornell.[citation needed]
She married Leslie Robert Burridge Slocombe in 1915 in Victoria.[1] Their children were:
- Ada May Slocombe (1917–?)[2]
- Laurel Beatrice Slocombe (1918–?)[3]
- Leslie John Slocombe (1920–?)[4]
Vera died in 1979 in Mornington, Victoria, aged 88 years.[5]
