Biography

"..... Fazakerley of Warmington, Gentleman married to Isabel Stoke, sister of Thomas Stoke, clerk". As shown in the outline tree compiled by Rev Henry Isham Longden, now at Northants Record Office ^[1]

Thomas Stoke, clerk, died in the eleventh year of Hen. VII (1496/7) and having no issue, left his properties to Isabel Fazakerley, widow, and Elizabeth Elmes, widow, his sisters and coheirs. ^[2]. His inquisition, held in January 1497 ^[3] states that Isabel Fazakerley, widow, aged 60 and more, is his sister and one of his next heirs. So Isabel was born sometime before 1437.
