Thomas Smithson, the son of George Smithson, was born in Collon in the parish of Bolton upon Swale, Yorkshire and baptised on 17 February 1659/60 in Bolton upon Swale, Yorkshire, England.[1] The Parish Register Baptism record was described as Anno Domini 1659. Mr: Thomas Smithson Sonne of Mr: George Smithson Collon was baptized ffebruary the 17.
Thomas Smithson died without issue (sine prole) at York, 1699, intestate; grant Admon. to his brother Christopher.[2]
Thomas Smithson's estate passed probate on 31 October 1699. His last residence was York, Yorkshire, England.[3]
