After a year of his parents' marriage, George was born about 1653 in the parish of Bolton Upon Swale. He was the son of George Smithson and Eleanor Fairfax.[1]
His baptism entry record was not recorded in the Bolton upon Swale Parish Register Baptism until it began in 1656.
He married Miss Elizabeth Danby of York and Kirby Knowle, on August 28, 1683, in York Minster, but left no issue. He died in the lifetime of his father and was buried in Middleton Tyas Church, on October 6, 1685. His widow afterwards resided in York.[1]
Georgius Smithson Jun: de Moulton was buried on 6 October 1685 in St Michael & All Angels Church, Middleton Tyas, Yorkshire, England.[2] The Parish Register burial record was described as Anno Domini 1685. Georgius Smithson Jun: de Moulton Sepultus erat sexto die Octobris.
