Biography

Elizabeth Morgan was born on 31 December 1809, the eighth of twelve children and the third of seven daughters of James and Margaret Jolliffe Morgan.

Alternate date of birth: 15 April 1803. ^[1]

On 30 March 1826, when she was sixteen, she married Zadock Jolliff.^[2]She bore him eight known children:

DOD on county death record is 28 March 1887 date on stone is 21 March 1887- age at death is the same on both, this would give her DOB as either 31 December 1809 or 24 December 1809 (28-28=0). death record gives her place of birth in Marion county~~Wetzel county was formed in 1842 from Tyler county which was formed in 1814 from Ohio county~~ Marion county was formed in 1842 from Harrison and Monongalia counties. Married in Tyler county 30 March 1826.
