Mary Hoult was born on 15 November 1775 in Monongalia County, Virginia,^[1] the fourth of ten known children, and the second of two daughters of John and Elizabeth Shircliffe Hoult.

Alternate date of birth: 15 Nov 1777.

On 25 May 1801,^[2] when she was twenty-five, she married Morgan Morgan in Monongalia County. She bore him five known children, including a son whom they named Elisha.

COMMENT by Brent: There is an unnamed graphic in ancestry.com that says James Fleming has solemnized marriage on 25 May 1801 of Morgan Morgan and Mary Hoult.

On 25 Oct 1828, a few weeks before her fifty-third birthday, she died in Tyler (later Wetzel) County^[4] of unknown causes.
