Biography
- James Morgan was born on 10 August 1787,[1] probably in Monongalia County, Virginia], the oldest of twelve children and five sons of James and Margaret Jolliff Morgan.
- In 1818, when he was in his early thirties, he died at an unknown location of unknown causes.
- He was a major in the War of 1812.[2]
- After the war he was a successful farmer in Monongalia County.[3]
