Sarah Morgan was born on October 15, 1787 in Bedford, Commonwealth of Virginia, daughter of Reese Morgan (~1752–1817) and Mary Hood (~1757–1841).

Sarah (20) married Luke Bird (24) (born on May 16, 1784 in Bedford; son of Benjamin Bird and Charity (Semones) Bird) on June 27, 1808 in Bedford.[1]
